Momentum Health Teavigo National Duathlon Series 2009 # 4:
EVENT # 4 ON ROAD: PORT ELIZABETH, Eastern Cape, Sunday 7 June 2009
Event number 4 of the extremely successful Momentum Health Teavigo Duathlon Series 2009 took place on Sunday in Port Elizabeth. Threatened by strong, cold winds, the race attracted South Africa's top duathletes who, at sea level, were able to show off their best performances. The course included parts of the Iron Man route, running along the water front board walk, then cycling inland and back for 30 km, and finishing off with a run next to the beach..

Momentum Health Teavigo National Duathlon Series 2009 # 3:

EVENT # 3 OFF ROAD: GRABOUW, Western Cape, Sunday 17 May 2009
The worst Cape winter weather...cold and very strong winds, and pouring rain threatened to severely impact on the event with the possibility of having the race cancelled. However the Cape duathlon enthusiasts are not easily deterred, and more specifically the hard core mountain bikers came out in force. Sadly the intended distances had to be reduced, due to safety, to a 2.5 km run, a 10 km cycle, and finishing with a 2.5 km run.

EVENT # 2 ON ROAD: ROODEPLAAT DAM, Pretoria, Sunday 29 March 2009
In excess of 400 duathletes participated in Sunday’s event, including the best of South Africa’s elite men and women - Brand du Plessis ( winner 2008 Series ), Jason Spong, ( winner Malaysia Powerman 2008 ) Stuart Marais, Hendrik de Villiers ( Olympian 2008 ), Chris Felgate and Andrea Steyn ( winner 2008 Series and BSG Energade Triathlon Series 2008 ), Lucie Zelenkova, Carlyn Fisher, Corinne Berg, Su Don-Wauchope and new comer Alea Brand.

Momentum Health Teavigo National Duathlon Series 2009 # 1:
Following on from a very successful 2008 Duathlon Series, Momentum Health and Teavigo return with an 8 event National Duathlon Series in 2009. With venues in Gauteng, North West, Kwazulu Natal, Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Free State: and alternating the events with a road and an off-road challenge, the series promises to test South Africa’s duathletes, starting in March and finishing up in October 2009.
